I don't get it. I was at the local dealer earlier this week looking at the '14 Limited. When I asked the sales guy about leaks he told me bikes were leaving the factory with a loose hose clamp but that's all fixed now. You guys have to be making up all these stories about filler necks, thermostats, etc.
Just like back in the day when cam tensioner's were also not a problem when u talk to a service guy at the dealership. Matter of fact some still try to pull that BS
Has anyone had leak issues since the fill neck "program"?
I have had a lot of leak issues prior to having the latest program performed, nothing since. Rides since have been shorter and during cold weather. I love the bike just hope the leak issue is in the rear view mirror.
Yes,.... I have had issues with leaks at the thermostat housing also, even after the filler neck program update. At this time, Harley has not upgraded that part, but I suspect it will be soon.

I keep hearing about the tensioners, and my 04 Heritage with 55,000 miles they still look great...

According to my dealer, hd and the manufacturer are trying to figure that out now. Soon there will be a program for the thermostats.
damn...........Iam getting pissed just reading these horror stories. I truly feel for you 2014 owners, I hope the MoCo gets its act together real soon, and these "best" Harleys will be trouble free for many, many miles!
What's funny, when I ask about leaking Twin Cooled motors at my local dealer, tell tell me they have had no problems with their delivered 14's.
But then, they know Iam hot for a new RG next year.

Yes,...... I figure it will be late February when Harley comes out with an update for the thermostat housing. I just hope my patience will last until they can solve the problem. I've got appx 2,000 miles on my Limited and I bet it has ridden in the back of a trailer that many miles or more.
