I guess that maybe we should try again tomorrow. It's a crying shame that they can't get even a simple link for the upgrade right.

How can you tell if the download is still 1.17.1? The file I downloaded is named
swdl_boombox_6.5GT.zip. Is this file 1.17.1 or 1.17.4?

You can check the date of the file using "File Properties" in Windows. The date of the file for 1.17.1.1 is August 2013. I would expect that when the correct file is linked to from the HF website that the date will be Jan. 2014. I tried the one I downloaded from the site a couple of hours ago and when updating the Boombox on the bike the screen indicated that it was the same version "1.17.1.1" that I already have installed. I did the supposed upgrade anyway but it didn't matter as they have not got the upgraded file "1.17.4" to the link on the website. I don't know if the problem is the same for the CVO model upgrades or not so if anyone has tried the CVO version update yet on the CVO Boombox you might let everyone know the status on it to.

Same problem for the 4.3 Standard radio, says the file is new and updated, but when downloaded it's the same file from Aug. 2013.

Default Tried the CVO just to see
after a failed attempt at the 6.5 I tried the 6.5 CVO just to see if 20k
more got the upgraded. NOT!!! Way to yank our chains Harley.
Did anyone notice that AVC is not a fix listed.

I hadn't updated to 1.17.1.1 and I decided to give the updating a go, well it's 1.17.1.1 not 1.17.1.4... Come on Harley, update the link....
