My 8,000 miles have been virtually trouble free. I have not had any cooling system issues at all. I did have to take it in for the clutch master cylinder recall back in October but I did not experience any problems with it prior to the recall.
I do believe the H2O cooling does help out a lot especially while sitting at idle to. My wife likes the ride a lot better too especially the way they redesigned the pass. backrest on the tourpak. It now provides lumbar support which she say's is a lot better.
The only annoyance that comes to mind is I have what appears to be streaks of an oily substance in the speedometer unit. It was replaced under warranty at around 5,000 miles but the replacement is doing the same thing. I will put up with it for a while and hopefully HD will resolve the problem before I have it replaced again. I have seen this issue on a few other bikes too so its' not just an isolated problem.
I have and am leaving this bike completely stock, haven't added pipes or any other eng. mod's. It runs like a SOB and I really like to be able to hear the stereo as well. I did install my Garmin GPS though as the Boombox units' GPS has limitations when it comes to custom routes with over 9 waypoints.
I'll be glad to answer any other questions that may come up - I'm no Expert but I am glad to share my experiences concerning the '14's.

Thanks Dude, first I'm hearing about the speedometer streaking, something to watch for....and I, like you, am leaving my bike pretty much stock. A siren for the alarm system (done) and an XM module (to do) are pretty much it for me!

So did HD replace those tired rock ridin air shocks? I was hoping the MoCo would make the HD Premium Shocks the new standard... Or did they improve them? TIA
They still use the air shocks but the ones on the 14's are a different part number and seem to do a better job than the ones before. The SGS comes with the premium shocks though but I haven't ridden one to compare.

Interesting, new part# eyh? Hhhmmmm, maybe MoCo improved them too... Thanks for sharing.
great idea having this section. Got annoying having the pre rushmore owners bashing. Can you report how many pre rushmore's sneak a peak at this section?? That would be funny.
