What's up with the kickstand angle on the 2014 Limited?Have to work to pick it off the kickstand compared to previous years.

being vertically challenged, I have noticed it is a little more of a reach than my road king

My 14 Road King is my first touring bike but I've felt like the kickstand is not moving forward enough and the bike is going to easy forward and tip over when I get off of it. Has anyone else experienced that feeling?

Look at the picture of mine. It points backward 15-20 degrees. I've been told it's safe but I hate the damn thing. At the very least, it should be 90 degrees from the bike. I would like to see it point forward 5 degrees.

I've had to sit back on the bike a few times just to make sure the kickstand was all the way forward. Seems weird to me.

Sorry, I misunderstood the post - it's the lean of the bike, not the kickstand.

My 2014 Limited feels easier to lift off the kick stand than my 2002 Fat Boy. I know apples to oranges, but the point is that the 2014 Limited kickstand angle isn't some absurd setup.

The angle doesn't bother me. But the way it digs in, is another story.

I park my bike in the garage, backing it in and leaning it left towards the left wall, same as I did with my '06 Ultra. I don't notice any difference, if the lean angle was more I'd have to park further from the wall to compensate for the increased lean. Only thing that MIGHT be different is the newer stands appear to be shorter (in length) than the older one, I'm gonna measure against my friends '13 next time we're together.
