Yes, I really should put up a new photo...the snow was in Canada before the bike was shipped here (see it's on the skid ready to go).
Thanks for the replies. I found DOT4 here today, so I'll attempt to bleed it in the morning. I find it interesting though that they've already come out with an A version of the master cylinder. The original part number production was stopped.
Drained the contaminated fluid and refilled it again, but it still won't pump up any pressure. Every time the clutch is squeezed, there is definitely a "squish" noise. I am convinced that it's the master cylinder that needs to be replaced...or at least rebuilt...
I didn't even know there was a recall. I pick mine up this Wednesday. I just checked the HD site, and see this message on my Profile: Recall Notice: 0153NaNRCL:2014 TOURING HYD CLT M/CYL
So, it appears to be fixed!
Oh, and to the OP, we just returned home from a trip to Varadero :-). Weather was AWESOME!

was it listed under open or closed recalls
if it was listed under open recalls it has not been fixed
My FLHXS doesn't show up with any open recalls but I get an intermittent issue with the clutch. It's like I'm lugging the **** out of it and trying to kill it. I don't know if it's me adjusting to a hydraulic clutch or what but I ain't a newbie so its a bit troubling especially knowing of the recall and problems with your folks even after having the recall performed. Fluid looks like everybody else is describing and also a bit low.
Mine is the same color as everyone else has stated. I feel like the clutch fluid is either bleeding into the oil and some oil is also pulling it back into the clutch master line and reservoir.
I am worried the DOT4 fluid is braking down the oil inside the motor.
I have 5 k on my street glide special. The recall work was done prior to delivery. Two months ago I was out for a ride and my clutch went. They rebuilt the Master Cylinder. Today, while riding back from a long trip, it happened again. This time the dealer I limped into contacted HD and they are replacing it. I am typing from a hotel room 120 miles from my house since the part is being shipped overnight.
My 2014 ultra limited is not wanting to down shift out of 3 when I stop I have to up shift and re down shift it. The other day it started grinding when I tried to put it in first gear on the down shift. This problem only happens when I ride over 150miles at a time when the bike is cold it shifts like butter but when it gets hot watch out. I'm running Spectro 6 speed gear oil in the tranny because the Harley syn was crap. Has anyone else had this issue????
Just pick my 2014 flhtk up August 3 and had 1k service done.800 miles after service clutch crapped out yesterday.Still waiting on dealer to contact me of what caused the failure. Fluid in reservoir was low (below sight glass) and no external leaks.I hope this is not going to be an on going problem as I have seen others with this happening more than once.
