Does your bluetooth turn itself off?

I'm not sure if I've messed up a setting or what, but the last few times I've ridden my bike I have had to manually turn on the bike's bluetooth. Does your bike automatically find your phone when you turn it on, or do you have to turn on the Bluetooth first?

Mine always finds it but it does take a few minutes sometimes.

My old phone would connect and then disconnect and I had to restart BT on the infotainment to get it to reconnect. My new phone, galaxy 4, works every time so far. And it is pretty quick. By the time I am on the bike and pulling out, it has connected and starts playing music. I do have to select the media device each ride since the infotainment goes back to radio on start up.
