Got a new ultra

Welcome, I just joined and had to post . Last week I took ownership of a 2014 ultra classic. Only owned it for 4 days and already have 900 miles on it. Can't stay off it. I really like it, I'm only 5' 10" so it's a little unnerving trying to maneuver it in parking lots, a little heavier than my last bike, a 2001 heritage.
She is candy orange and I call her Baby, since she is brand new.i brought her home from the hospital and gave her her first bath.

Congrats on the new ride,I know what you mean about parking lot maneuvering. I'm coming from a soft tail also- but this is what riding is supposed to be like!!

Thanks guys, Saturday I rode about 230 miles and it was 72 . Sunday we got about 3 inches of snow. Spring sucks.

Congrats! I went from a Kawasaki Mean Streak to a Ultra Limited so I can definitely relate to the low speed difference. It's definitely much more top heavy than I was used to. I've spent a little time in a empty parking lot getting used to it.

Pretty much identical story to yours. Traded off a Heritage for the Limited about a week ago. Then it snowed last night! Congrats. So far I'm pretty happy w/ the decision too.
