Default First Ride

Well the weather finally broke yesterday for a 100km ride (thats 62.1 miles for you American folk) on my SGS. I must say I am very impressed with the handling of the bike. I felt quite comfortable riding and handling it. But then again, it is my first bike so I have absolutely nothing to compare to. Went out with my Dad and I will say, it brought a tear to my eye. Always wanted to go riding with my Dad since he bought his bike in 2003 for his 50th. The Mrs. quite enjoyed it too. Hopefully it will be a beautiful summer for many safe miles.

Nice! Ride safe. Alberta summer is the best month and 1/2 of the year

I know what you mean about riding with your dad. I am hoping that I get to ride with my dad this summer for the first time. Really looking forward to it. If things work out right, my son will be joining us. Not only that, but my son will be riding a 3rd generation bike. It was my first bike that I gave to my dad who rode it for a few years. Now he's done a frame up restoration on it and giving it to my son!
