Default How to set presets?

OK I give up. Could someone please explain to me...in small words how the hell to set my presets on my radio? I can tune in stations np, but anything and everything I do does not set the presets. It just goes back to what the dealer had.

Hold down the button next to the preset position you want for a few seconds. You'll get a beep and you're done. In order to scroll through your presets you'll have to change the settings so you aren't tuning.

Maybe I am doing something wrong, but tried that and it would not set to that station.

My bad, you probably have the 6.5"? If so, sorry, I've got nothing for you.

That's one of the first things I did and I'm pretty sure it worked just like my car. I tuned to the station I wanted and long pressed the number on the screen I wanted that station to be.

That pretty much sums it up, my initial error was to not long press that preset button. Once I figured that out, it was pretty simple.
