Heli Bars with a C&C seat which moves me down about 2" and back about 1.75"
Feels as comfortable as 13" or 14" bars but keeps your hands behind the fairing.
I bookmarked your post a while back... What happens to all the internal wiring with them? I'm assuming that because of the design you cannot run everything internally.
Had my dealer install HD reduced reach bagger bar P/N 56176-08 (Chrome)
stock cables & wires, retained heated grips, & wired internally
job came out perfect.
Thanks. My dealer said the Reach bars would not work with heated grips... Anyone else using the HD Reach bars with heated grips ? Maybe the internal of the bars just needs to be cleaned up with a dremel tool ?

I was just about to post the same question as Reese, but found his post instead.
I'm seriously considering the Heli Bars as well. Did you end up getting the Horizon ES or Horizon ESX model? I'm considering the ES model which goes up 2" and has the option of 2" to 4" back. Can't tell though if these bars accept the heated grips. Now that I've used those heated grips in the cold I can't imagine giving them up.
I looked at the WO578's and decided to go with them. They should be installed along with 1" lowering kit in the front to match the 1" drop already in the back. This with decatted pipes and S&S570 cams in the next 2 weeks or so. Should ride and run a lot better.

We'd have to move all the internal wiring to the outside, watch the video.
Klock werks ergo back are 2 up and 2 back. They didn't require any extensions and I think have a better angle for my wrists. Only 300 miles with them so far but much better than stock.
Paul yaffe 12" classic bagger apes. Factory wiring and cables installed yesterday with heated grips.
Dealer sold me the extended throttle switch which would not work on the 2014 flhtk. The pins were male and needed to be female. I bought the pins at the dealer and had there tech remove and please the male pins with the needed female pins. I installed the bars. I then had an engine light, no cruise and idled at 1500 instead of 1000rpm
I took the extended throttle switch out and installed the factory switch and didn't have any problems. Should have done that the first time. So word of advice don't buy the extended switch.

Reese, how did it all turn out? I have a 14 limited and want to do almost the same thing. Do you have a few pics, thanks
