You cant go wrong either way. I am partial to the black but with some contrast. Yeah its an 09 but gives you and idea with the contrast Bells

Yes. The stock ones are just polished.

I had a chrome front end on my last bike. I am going to do black sliders on this one and leave everything else alone.

I think I am going to do a chrome front end with chrome polished rotors.

I like the black, but afraid of getting too much black with the engine guard.. etc.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. Has anyone attempted this on a 14' themselves? I would love to learn, but don't want to get in deep and not be able to finish..

I went with the black front end.

I used plasti-dip, 4hr job, cost $15

I went with chrome...just finished. My last SG was black and the chrome went well with it...this time I got the Blackened Cayenne...looks black at night, but the chrome really pops

Black is the latest fad (IMHO) chrome is timeless and is way easier to take care of.

I went with chrome. I think yours would look good with black, but you'd need to add some more black to balance it. Engine guard and exhaust mainly.
