I don't know if you caught it or not, but the machine is goin in for 1000 mile service soon. Won't the missing cat kinda wreak havoc with my warranty? Just asking. First brand new HD. Have had several leading up to this one, but never new under warranty.
Going to have my stock de-catted head pipe and Vied -10 for sale in a few days.
Waiting on my goodies from Fuel-Moto to arrive. $200 for both + half for shipping in the lower U.S.
Street cannons were already installed on my bike when I bought it. I liked the sound until I had cat removed at 1000 mile service. I reinstalled the stock mufflers until I decide what I want. Street cannons are too loud for me with the cat removed.
I installed street cannons on mine & I am very happy with the sound -deeper at idle,a little louder going down the road & have what I think is a nice bark when you get on it,good luck with your decision

What do the stock mufflers sound like with the cat removed?

My HD dealer installed my Street Cannons before I even took the bike off the lot. A few weeks later they removed the cats while the rest of my stuff was getting done (Stereo upgrade and Daymakers). I figure since I have it on their invoice that they did the cats I am hoping it shouldn't affect my warranty.

Thanx for all the input. I guess what it all boils down to is a matter of personal preference. And isn't that why we ride Harleys to begin with? Personal customization, kinda like snowflakes, no two are alike. Except stock of course.
With the Catalytic Converter taken out of the stock head pipe the stock mufflers get louder.
Try that first, plus with no Cat less heat from the exhaust head pipe.
I gutted the cat on my '97 Power Stroke. that was easy. real easy.
How do you go about gutting the cat on the motorcycle exhaust pipe. I guess the service manual would state where they are. From there just go get 'em?
Thanks.

Unless something happens to your bike that they prove is linked to a modification...nope. The dealers add exhaust to new bikes on the showroom floor all the time. It doesn't effect the warranty, and it's extra profit in their pocket.
