Default windshield storage

I have a question that I hope someone can answer for me. I want some more storage for my 2014 Ultra Limited specifically in the front of the bike. Normally a three pouch, pouch, up on the windshield would work fine, except the new vent is there. Anyone come up with an alternative ????

Harley sells a 3 pouch windshield bag for the new rushmores, not sure of the part number but a lot of people on the forum has them.

No, but does add a little bit of air coming at you around chin level. Center pouch is above the vent and a small cutout to the left for the vent button. For me. it's not enough to lose the convenience of the pouches. Some on here hated having it on, others are fine with it. Maybe you could try someone's bike with it installed and see for yourself.

Can you tell a difference between vent open and vent closed with the 3 pocket ?

A little, but definitely not as as much as without the pouches. It's a significant reduction with the vent open without the pouches. With them, the reduction is not felt that much.

Cool thanks for the quick response. I have the 3 pocket and trying to make up my mind if to put it on. I like the way it looks and would like the storage.

Yeah, you definitely lose some of the benefit of the vent but I'm just used to having windshield pouches...and a bit of wind at my chin just isn't enough of a nuisance to remove them. You may find it's too much of a bother but may as well try it and give it a little time to see if it's worth it.

With my LRS windshield (that YOU convinced me to order...ha) and recently installed fork mounted deflectors, ashes don't even budge on a cigar I'm smoking....even with that little air from the vent. YMMV
