I know a lot of you guys out there with a Limited have had the passing lamps turned on so they stay on with the high beams. The question I have is . Do any of you who have them on also have the HD garage door opener too. If so does it work properly?
Thanks... Trying to wire a HD opener into My buddies SGS but the power flow is different on the Street Glide than the Ultra or the Limited...just looking for a work around. The local shops haven't figured out how to wire one in because of the difference yet either.. Same wiring harness but different power flow. I think it is just a BCM programming difference but they say there is nothing they know of to change and since they wont let me in the shop to muck around with the digital technician I guess I will either have to wire a relay in or wait for them to come up with an answer..
I kind of want to beat them to the answer because when I talked to them about the issue they said I must have wired it wrong because the SG and the Limited have the same wiring and said it was because I was a back yard mechanic not a trained HD Tech and I should leave it up to them. They didn't like it much when I pointed out the problem and they had to admit I was right and they didn't know how to fix it..
Thanks again
