Bertk thanks for taking the time to make this great write up! My buddy plans to do this install and your tips will help a lot. Great tip on lifting and rolling the fairing forward to get access to the handlebars.

First big thank you to the OP. Informative decent pics etc.

I do want to note one observation. The bars installed on this thread are straight. There is a set of 8 inch twin peaks that have a double lower bend in the bar. I noticed this when seeing price differences in bars. Heres examples for reference.

This is the straight bar 8 inch twin peak.

Just adding to the information resource here.

The straight are for non-fairing models. The fairing models have to have the bends. It's the same for all heights.

Did these bars give you more or less pullback then the stock bars? Also how much did they raise the height? They look great on your bike

I've had a set of 10" Twin Peaks sitting on my bench for about 2 yrs now. Installed them on my old 2010 Limited only to find out that the control wiring would not fit in the grooves on the bars. Got frustrated and pulled them off. The TBW cable was super easy. Had ran inside in a few minutes.

I'm wondering if I go through the process again on my Rushmore if I'll have the same issue?

Default What part number are these bars?

Does anyone know exactly what part number these bars are? They look like the LA-7360-08.

Looks good. Did you gain anything over the stock bars in height?
