This could just be anecdotal. I did the update yesterday morning, then did about 450 miles, and noticed the below happening.
When infotainment is left in map mode for a while, select the "minus" button to zoom out, but it zooms in instead. It seems to zoom in to the closest extreme, skipping all gradients between, although I haven't selected the "plus" to confirm that it is at the furthest in. Happened probably 5 or 6 times yesterday. I'll be paying closer attention how to duplicate.

That is a reproducible new bug. Hitting the + OR - the first time will zoom the map all the way in. + or - presses after that function normally. UNTIL you restart, the it starts all over again.
This one actually bothers me more than any of the glitches before since I tend to zoom in/out often when using the Nav feature.

I agree. Could be considered a little bit of a safety issue because now instead of one or two clicks is could be a half dozen or so to get where you want. Granted it's all thumb controlled but it's still distracting you from paying complete attention to the road.

yep, I rolled back to 1.17.4 cause it was driving me nuts and taking too much attention from the road. Before, it was a single click once in a while to see an upcoming turn, etc but now it's a major pain.

Thanks offthewall. Good to know. Well not "good", but does brings me some comfort.
I have the 4.3". Before it was hard telling the time in the daylight because the orange lines/border at the bottom ran across the lower half portion of the time display. Now after the update the orange border is gone and I can clearly see what time it is.
I had actually considered buying an aftermarket clock until now.
+1 If I'm remembering correctly my numbers used to be white with a blue gradient or fade and were really hard to read, now they're solid white and easy to read. It only took me like 3 days of riding to notice it after the update. Not surprising though, sometimes it takes me an hour and a half to watch 60 minutes!

Just checked mine, it does the same thing. Zooms way in.

+2
I noticed it as soon as I got on the bike. Much better!
