Scott you may be right, HD may not be the right bike for me any longer. Time to put a cover on it and park it beside the red one. Looking around they're not worth much right now. Went by a dealer today and they had 50+ new '14 bikes, any model, any color and what would a used HD be worth, not much. I did ride a couple of other brands today, some really nice and very cheap, but the best of the crop was the BMW. It was fast, comfortable and not that expensive compared to some of their cars I purchased over the years.
And yes I did enjoy some of the first Harley's I owned, those that you would kick start, kick and try to start... or push to start, or give up and walk home. No, I'm convinced they are complete morons and it shows in the product they're putting out.
Time to turn in your man card. Last I heard BMW had a no ride hold on their new bikes.😀

Don't think just because you go to another brand that you aren't going to have problems or have to deal with idiots. I had to go through some serious crap with one of my BMW's years ago and dealt with some of New Jersey's biggest jackasses to get it all straightened out (which took months).
Another troll claiming "numerous" problems with he 14s. Go back to your moped
Well, "he 14's" he doesn't have any trouble with he 14, it's the morons Harley Davidson sent here, he has a problem with. If these less then professional individuals are an example of their brain trust, that may be the reason for the 100's of complaints on this board. If your HD is great, then good for you, 1/1000 '14s.

Maybe you could go there and show them how a real professional does it
ahh, then you would understand how important it is to be professional. One guy there had never ridden a Harley, he told them that. They ignored him. I could see that he was having trouble starting his ride, he was looking for a key to turn to start a softail, so I showed him what ***** to turn and what buttons to push. No help from the demo folks.
Then you should know how hard it is to put one on. to bad you wasn't there with us back then, you could had told that guy how to use a thumb control throttle.
Now go trade your Harley and get a BMW, be happy, life is to short. I'm already lucky, I have a Rushmore King and I love it.
