Road Glide 2024 - Headseats to be paired
I've a question.
I have two helmets (one full face and one mid) both with integrated headset. Will it be possible to pair two headsets on rider profile? I will use one by one not simultaneously.
need this to use Apple Car Play despite the helmet I will wear.

There are two headset profiles. Rider and Passenger - you can only connect one device to each at a time.
so, no…. You would not be able to connect two headsets to the rider profile, but both the rider and the passenger can enjoy the music or whatever.
I do not believe that navigation alerts and such play thru the passenger profile - if that is your question.

I don't want two headset to be connected and working at same time on Rider's profile, but jut been paired both to the same profile; only one device at time will be used, the one fitted into fullface helmet or the one fitted into the mid helmet.
I've also understood that Apple Car Play can be switched on only if an headset (or something looking similar) is paired and powered.
If a "fake headset" is paired to the bike, just to have APC always on, can I handle the incoming phone calls? I'm planning to connect devices as follows:
- fake headset to Rider Profile
- iPhone to Rider Profile
- Helmet Headset to iPhone
if this will work doesn't care abt how many headset can be paired to the bike.

It depends on your goal.
If you want the bike audio in your helmet speakers and use the helmet mike then you will have to repair the helmet to the bike each time you switch helmets. Just takes a few seconds after you have done it a couple of times,
If you just want Apple Car Play to be active and you do not want Boom audio into your helmet then use one of the “fake” headset options to trick the bike system. You can then pair both helmets via Bluetooth to your phone and control phone functions directly.

yes, I want bike speakers to play music/podcast, Apple Car Play always on, and - pairing the headsets ONLY to the iPhone - phone calls on headset.
if well understood, phone calls can be managed by Apple Car Play, reply/dismiss, while the audio should be played by the headset
