New Road Glide owner. I see there is voice activation on my media but I do not have the microphone. Is there a way to rig up a mic other than the helmet? Can you take calls the same way?

 

Yes, you'd need WHIM and some kind of wireless headset in your helmet. I'm using harley branded Sena 50S. Other people were reporting that when using other headsets sound comes in mono.
I've just grabbed link from the search, you'd need one for your model.

 

Good question, none that I've ever seen. For full use of the available features you need the WHIM and a HD branded bluetooth headset.

 

or you could hook up the add-on harness that allows you to use a wired mic/helmet setup. you don't have to get the whim and go wireless if you don't want to.
