Got my first 200 miles in last night. Awesome bike, very happy with the frame and suspension improvements compared with my old Dyna. The old girl has a hourglass figure now, cool the way you can hug the tank with your knees. Kinda has a buzz at 3000rpm. Simple solution is to go faster. Or shift gears, that works too.
The seat isn't terrible but a memory foam mod is gonna be the first thing. That was by far the best thing I did with my old bike.
Dunno about windshield. I strapped a tool pouch to the bars, which keeps the wind off my chest, I only really start getting blown around above 80. I wear a full face helmet and had terrible buffeting behind the shield on my old bike, which I sort of cured with lowers, but it was always a tossup whether to just ditch the shield.
I like the mids, wouldn't want to stay on em all day but the passenger pegs take the pressure off hips, back and butt when needed. The problem with the mids is, they are kinda high. Price you pay for lean angle. Might have them thicken the seat a little to relax the hip angle.
