There just something about the new Fatboy that doesn't look right with a windshield, no matter how small. At least for me.

yeah I agree but if there's one that's the least offensive for long distance riding, one of those MRA RO's is gonna be the only one that at least tries to look like part of the bike.

it states it sits a tad lower than stock seating.............which is amazing in itself, it looks better padded than stock
I notice you are running boards, so.... how tall are you, how you finding it??
I like the option of being able to fit a back rest and a passenger seat with this model

I also have the widetripper with backrest. I am waiting to get it back from Mean City Cycle to make it more comfortable. It is more comfy than stock, for sure, but I didn't notice a huge difference in height, etc.

Thanks Padre...........didnt notice you had it as well...... been scouring the thread looking for pics......... until I saw his I was leaning towards Cootey's 'Sundowner' with the grasshopper backrest fitment, downside with that being not as good a metal sleeve fitment on the seat I gather a bit sloppy...... and you cant just ride with the backrest removed without the sleeve being on display
