HD, but... funny story...
In the earliest days of the 2018s (I bought the first 2018 my dealer sold) the website and first catalog erroneously referenced the flat-black version of 16" apes for this bike and that's what I bought. The reference wasn't there for long, but it was longer still before the current apes were referenced. At the time it was these or nothing. So I kept these apes and had them powder-coated glossy.
Today the HD 16" Apes referenced on the website won't need powder-coating, but they actually are a different part number than what I'm running. Hilarious, right?!
Once I got the apes, I'd been bothered by the riser style mismatch. It looked wrong but options were/are limited with this new line. I'm thankful to find the Thunderbike riser.
Pics from the website look exactly like what I received. BTW: There are two different versions of riser. These fat apes require the larger of the two sizes.
