Memphis Shades Fats or Slim being used by anyone on their Sport Glide. What height are you using, and any comments welcome, pictures if you have them. Thanks

 

I have searched to no end for a windshield replacement,,,, but finally I found Slipstreamer they have OEM replacement windshields that fit Sportglide.All are under 100.00 bucks. I ordered the 10 inch lightly smoked. talk to Windy parts lady fixed me up without a loss to the bank. Most places want you to buy their kits, here just the windshield I have used them in the past I have a slipstreamer on a Honda

 

Looking to remove the fairing and go with a windshield like those that used to be for the low rider, already have a 12 inch replacement shield for the fairing and getting helmet buffering.

 

If you are getting too much buffeting from a stock Sportglide windshield I don' think a windshield like a Memphis Fats is going to be your solution. That type of windshield is notorious for causing buffeting.

The biggest source of buffeting is actually wind coming up from underneath, that's why "Fangs" or lower deflectors are so popular with the Herritage style windshields.

 

Have you looked at the New Klock Werx Windshield for the FLSB? For me, I think this may be ideal for minimizing dirty air from under the fairing as well as coming over the windshield.
