Default Which Windshield?

Just Purchased A 2013 Super Glide Custom. Which windshield is best for highway driving for wind protection and buffeting?

Unfortunately bigger/taller is better. Look for something with a curve at the top to kick that air up and over your head. I can't speak specifically for the Super glide. But I have two windshields for my 11 Wide glide. A HD clap on and a Memphis Shades batwing that I just got. Both of which I have said "Ya should of gone a little taller." Check out Klock werks. They will all have guides to help you choose a height.

I lucked out and bought a HD windshield for only a $100. It's not a very good looking add on, but it is wonderful on the Hwy. No wind buffeting my chest or lifting my helmet.

I also have the same two setups as you and even with the 12" windshield or the tallest LRS I still get way to much buffeting. Let me know if you ever find a cure for it.

I also have the MS wings on the fairing.

I HAVE A Memphis shades batwing great protection plus protects your hands.... if there is a height issue on the batwing, make sure that you have the tilt adjusted properly there is huge adjustment availability with them.. mine is set ,where i look over the top of it, and i can ride without glasses... i added the lower wind deflectors than that really stopped it from coming up from below

I have a Memphis slim 17in windshield. Tad pricey when you factor in the brackets as well IMO for good wind protection but Ive ceartianly got my money's worth. I'm 5'9" and get zero buffeting unless there is a harsh cross wind. Keeps more than enough wind off so that it takes the strain off my arms and neck.

And it comes off in about 10 seconds for cleaning and summer rides

Purchased an LRS 18". I'm 6' / 34" inseam and can just see over top using a Corbin solo seat. I prefer looking over, than through the screen. The LRS has a curve at the top that pushes the air just over my helmet so buffeting is minimal. I thought the stock FLD screen (16") gave me more buffeting. Also, IMHO the overall cut of the LRS screen gives a better look than the stock screen.
