L.A.F. (loud as fu@!) Pipes. A friend of mine and forum member 5inner just put these on his 99 FXD not a bad deal for $99. They actually aren't as loud as I expected but do sound pretty good.
Not sure whos bike this is. But its sick.. I really love the pipes.
Anyone know who makes the pipes??
I had a pair of these in 1-3/4" on a 111" S&S. These are kind of open and "flappy" sounding to me. Sounded okay under load but decel sounded like ****. For smaller motor I'd recommend a torque cone with them. Also I'd stay away from 2" that short all together.
From what I've seen and heard in person $99 gets you some short *** black pipes, there's really not much to them. Too short to have any welds and the coating on them looked fine. My buddy wrapped his in black wrap leaving a section of the lower pipe exposed. They don't have O2 sensor ports, might be something to consider if you have a newer bike. Sound is loud and proud with no baffles. Personally I like them. They really un-clutter the tail end. At $99 it's not like your breaking the bank on them if you don't like them. I'll try and post up a pic for you a lil later.
