For people like me that get spend happy during the off season?
I've completely changed my bike so rapidly I'm not sure how to even review the parts when nice weather comes in.
Here's a list.....
Conleys t sport fairing
burly 14in narrow apes (Cable kit)
Vance&Hines short shots (black)
Fuel moto stage 1 intake
Power Vision
2inch tank lift with the rear lift as well
arlen ness grips
arlen ness turn signal reloaction (front)
Progressive 412s
dk air breather cover
dk crank breather relocation
horn relocation/coil relocation
smoked turn signal kit
black clutch cover (threads stripped on original)
I know there's more that I've overlooked and cannot remember off the top of my head but I'm still looking into a set of black mirrors, black clutch/brake levers, saddlebags, luggage rack, tour pack, cams ect....I just need to ride and do not know how to deal with the Weather keeping me off the dang thing so I order parts, this is normal right?
And, whats an off season? Ha ha ha. Happy to hear you tricked your bike out. I get excited over every little bit of change on my bike. Go put some mile on 'er now!
A low of 10° tonight and snow/wind is my off season. After I get my last round of parts Monday I'm hoping to break into the upper 20's so I can add a few miles to the odometer. I did this last year too with a pos shadow 600. Bobbed it out and did everything possible to it then sold it off in spring but at least I got my money and a little profit out of that one.
Was hoping for 20's to 30's Sunday but nope. High of 13° low of 2°.
Same here low of 9 coming up. Got to go out the other day and was happy with forty something degrees. I hear you on the need for a support group. After I got the bike this summer I did the usual stage one, tuner, and saddle. Followed quickly with rear shocks.
This winter I bought a tool set, shop manual, cams, push rods, lifters, led turn signals, handlebars, grips, fairing, fork springs, intiminator's, clutch spring, and head light. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Holy crap crazy!
Usually the off season is an expensive one for all of us bike guys & gals......then we are forced to gander at all the upgrades till to the first decent ridable day. Just part of the game I guess.
What is really bad is when your bike is totally tricked out with all the off season maintenance completed, all shined up looking sexy in the garage and its too cold to ride. At least you get to play with her for a few weeks.

Something sounds just a little creepy with all our posts
Yes, the off season is the spendy time. Have Hagon Nitro shocks on order, and then debating on a Corbin dual tour with backrests in bomber brown leather, or cams and associated.
Have to go back into the forks to fine tune the Racetech Emulators, spacer (preload) and oil weight and level.
