2018 Softail Slim Bars

2018 Softail Slim Bars
Looking to upgrade the bars on a Softail Slim and wondering about any links or guidance on what all is involved? What is the maximum height of an Ape style bar that I can do with factory cables and lines? Any help is appreciated and advice on styles or kits to help if the factory lines won't work?

I have also a 2018 Slim. There is no upgraded bars for a post WWII style bike that the Slim is, None that I have seen any way but I wish you well sir.

Welcome to the forum.
I also have a 2018 slim. I did 12in Hell Bent bars and had to change my cables and add wire extensions. I have heard possibly 10in bars could use stock cables and wires but it was close?

I Love the look of your bike by the way. I really like how you reshaped your seat and had it reupholstered. It looks great! What did you get your cables and wire extensions?

Huh? I guess I'm not understanding you. Harley themselves offers 22 different handle bars (chrome, black, Ape, mini-ape, drag, etc) for the 2018 & 2019 Slims in their catalog and in the online store.

Thank you very much Camohunter, I appreciate the kind words. Yes, being that the bike was a 2018 there really wasn’t any seats on the market that had the look I was looking for. As far as my cables and wire extensions. My local Harley dealer really hooks me up when it come to the work on the bike. When I priced it out to do the work myself it’s almost the same price for my local shop to do the work for me (parts and labor)
