Had the dealer install them but they didn't order anything extra.

Default Fork Fangs

I'm looking to add some fangs or fork mounted lowers to ease up some of the tank buffeting coming up under the Batwing fairing. Anyone on this thread know of a clamp that is sized correctly or am I going to have to DIY it up?

I've done a few things to my Sport Glide. But most recently I've been messing with the front windscreen and making some wind deflectors.

I bought a banged up fairing off someone on here and I've been doing some tinkering.

Setup:
- Windscreen - Gustaffson 15" touring
- Braces - Slip Streamer Tombstone mount (hacked)
- Wind Deflectors - 1/4" acrylic hand cut DIY

The braces I hacked up a set of Slip Stream braces. I don't have the alignment quite right yet and thought I could get away with just some rubber pads. After a 200 mile ride the pad almost slid completely off because of alignment issues.

Wind deflectors I traced out with cardboard (like someone else here did) then cut using a jigsaw.

Nice! Let us know how it works out after some miles.

Will do. Deflectors worked great for the 400 ish miles I have on them! Braces, mostly worked. I think I'm going to design and print up some with my 3d printer.

Nice have you considered fangs also? I also have the 15" Gustafsson. I wonder if the fork fangs would aid in downforce to the front tire and bike in general and make it even more stable a high speed. Old Mike might know if he sees this and would chime in

Not sure where you'd mount the fork fangs. Are people interested in if I get some of these deflectors laser cut? I'm experimenting with some fork mounting options right now.

I had fangs mounted on my Street Glide, didn't notice any change in stability, just less wind buffeting.
