Here it is as it sits:

That Silver looks good! Nice bike I've been thinking about getting a Sport Glide as a second bike. Need to take one on a test ride soon.

It does everything good, nothing great.
I have a blue crossbones as all of my screensavers.

Grundee, I ride 50 miles one way to work daily. What would you think of the SpG as a daily rider?

141 Iron Cross,
How did you mount and wire your Power Vision to your console?

You will look less cool, with a moderately more comfy ride. It’s worth a test ride, but so is a road king.
I got hooked by the test ride. It handles so good on the short test ride I totally forgot about how I would do on a highway. So its not as good as a tourer for long days, but damn does it shred.

Although not directed at me, I'll chime in. I have a 45 mile one-way commute. About 5 miles country roads, 35 miles interstate, and 5 miles light city traffic. In my opinion it makes a superb daily rider. I also take mine on some work trips (usually under 400 miles one way).

Can you let me know what brackets you used to relocate your turn signals? I also want the Memphis Shades but haven't found brackets.

I don't ride nearly as far, but I have taken mine to work nearly every day (15 miles round trip), and I do longer rides (75+ miles, I live on an island lol, only so many roads) on the weekends. I find the sport glide to be very comfortable and easily maneuverable. I have taller bars on mine now and it made it more comfortable than it already was to begin with. You will likely upgrade the seat regardless. I came from a 1200 sportster to the SG, and the difference was night and day for me.

Default SpG for commuting

As with many on here the handling of the SPG hooked me but most of my trips are less than 10 miles. I love the Street/Road Glides for their comfort and look though. So slowly converting my SpG into a Faux Street Glide by upgrading to better bags and Memphis Shades fairing (once I figure out how to relocate my signals).

Unless you enjoy lots of wind, buffering, and moderately comfy ride, I would personally go with a touring model for long commutes.
