Thought I'd share some pics of the Wedge Fairing on an 18 Heritage. Haven't had a chance to ride with it yet here in Michigan. I think it actually fits the bike pretty well. The HD fat chizeled bars look crazy tall even though they have the same rise as the stock bars. I'm not sure what I think about those yet. Also added the Saddlemen Explorer seat, The Forge 24" sissy bar, Heat Demon heated grip inserts, and Fuel Moto AC/DC air cleaner with S&S cover. I have a rain sock over the AC in the most of the pics to keep the dust out while it sits in the garage so you can't see that very good. I have the black S&S SuperStreet pipe and Power Vision ready to install but want to get the gas leak issue looked at before I void the warranty.
I think another forum member has the fairing on a Sport Glide and there's pictures of his bike on the website. I'll have to take a picture from the seat view.
It looks good ! Do you have the weight of it handy ?Fangs ?
Peace.
The website says it weighs 26lb. but I thought it felt much lighter than that. Mine is just the bare fairing - no radio, amp, speakers etc. but I could add them later. It comes with separate removable lowers kinda of like fangs. I have them installed in the pics. I'm hoping it cuts down on the buffeting.
I have a similar bike, with a similar issue. Can you elaborate on what yours is doing?
I've noticed a small puddle of gas under the bike in the garage on several occasions and also smelled a strong gas smell at stop signs a bunch of times. The gas is leaking out of the overflow but it happens even with less than a half tank of gas. There's a couple threads on hear about the problem. Sounds like rotating the fuel pump regulator 180 degrees and adjusting something fixes it. I have no idea what's involved with doing that so I'll just have the dealer look at it under warranty.
My issue is the exact same. I've taken it to 2 different dealers and they all tell me they don't see anything wrong. I've seen the same threads about rotating the regulator but I have to "convince" the dealer that there is an actual issue. They keep telling me not to put so much gas in it.
