Throttle sensitivity question
Does anyone know whether the throttle sensitivity can be adjusted? Ever since my bout with arthritis in my right hand last year it just seems like its hard to hold a speed/rpm steady.
Slide your throttle hand up so it slightly touches the throttle grip housing to steady things and use the cruise control as much as possible.
If your bike didn’t come with cruise, you can add the left control switch pack, and have the dealer enable cruise,

Thanks for all the responses. I do have cruise control and use it almost to a fault. I have also tried sliding my hand against the switch housing with some success.

I have similar issues with my right hand. Large bone spur from an old fracture. Also have chronic "golfer's elbow" (medial epicondylitis). Hand aches and goes numb when riding. Same thing happened last year and got prednisone in late May. Helped a lot and allowed me to take a long ride last July when I had my 2017 XL1200T Sportster. No cruise on that one, but a cramp buster allowed me to do the 1600 miles in 5 days of riding. Still had to stop about once per hour.
I now have a 2018 FLCHS (Heritage 114) with cruise control. This helps, but I just went back to my doc for another prednisone dose. Doc referred my to a hand ortho. I'll work around it this riding season, but may have to have surgery next Fall/Winter to really make it better. It's not going to stop me doing the trips I plan for this summer (back East again and a trip to see the Rockies).

Yes, it can be adjusted with the H-D Street Tuner. It's called throttle progressivity.
