Default SE Torque cam on M8 Softails feel

One of the reasons I really like my Sport Glide is because of how smooth it runs. I would like to go Stage II on it, but I'm a little afraid that the SE cam will add more vibrations, which would be a no-go for me. If you have one installed, can you comment on the feel vs stock?

I'm not taking about lope at idle either, that would actually be nice. More about vibrations and feel while riding. Thanks!

I had the same concerns. I got the SE447 anyway. It added a little more vibration, which either disappeared shortly thereafter or I quit noticing it. What I continue to notice is that whacking the throttle open causes my arms to pull out of their sockets.

In other words, it's been an excellent upgrade and I'm very happy with it.

Except for the nice lope at idle, I notice no additional vibration during normal riding between the miles I put on it stock and then afterward with Stage II w/torque cam. (114) It’s just as smooth according to my powers of observation, though it sounds much better. But it’s kind of like the gas mileage question. I can still achieve 47mpg, but the same twist on the throttle produces more power now, so it has the potential to use more gas if you don’t take it easy. It is now a noticeably faster bike and at WOT we’ll, yes, more gas, more power, more rpms, more speed, and I guess more vibration but only because the power comes on quicker. Very happy with the mod and thrilled this beast is still covered by the warranty.
