That was something I considered but went with the tourpack for the new heritage.
What size tour pack did you get?
The reason I ask is I have a Rushmore King tour pack from a previous bike. And was thinking of using it. However, I dont want to wreck it by drilling holes in it to fit the Heritage mount.
The Viking pack looks nice. That's one I'm considering.

Viking seems smaller than King tour pack. King tour pack can fit 2 helmets

I have the genuine HD tourpak but sent it in for warranty since I bought mine near when they first came out they attached the inside with glue that can lift... They are either going to stitch the one I sent in or give me credit to buy a new one... I am actually debating buying a king tour pack if they give me store credit... I want to be able to fit both my and my wife's full face helmet in the tourpack.

I saw too many negative reviews on HDs site about the Softail packs. That's why I'm considering using my Rushmore pack. I have to see where the Softail mount rack lines up with the King tour pack.
