I am freaking out, I just bought this 2018 Harley and its leaking oil, not just a little bit its totally pouring out. Does anybody know what this is coming from or what is causing this anything at all.
OK Im back at the bike this morning, and if I loosen the gas cap enough it will completely stop. If I tighten the gas cap correctly then gas starts spewing out of that spot. Is this a gas cap issue or perhaps something else? Anybody could shed some light on this that would be awesome.

Apparently there are some that had issues with the fuel tank vent. Some have had them replaced under warranty and some have reported rotating it 180*, I believe but don't quote me on that, sometimes fixes it. There is at least one thread on here about it you may want to try to search for to find more answers on the subject. I don't have a link to it handy at the moment.

This was the advice my friend received from his mechanic when he asked if it was safe to drive his car with a gas leak. I think this is just good sound overall advice..
My problem with my 2018 Softail had something to do with the fuel pump. I would get fuel dripping in that same location with the engine idling. The dealer replaced the fuel pump and that took care of the problem.
