Default Another exhausting exhaust thread

So i very recently purchased a 2019 Street bob FXBB and it's completely stock (aside from installing forward controls) and i already think it needs more sound. I don't want to break the bank so i was looking at slip-on mufflers like the V&H Twin Slash's and was wondering if i would need a tune for something like that? Im not sure if i ever plan on doing a whole new full system in the future but for now that's what i got.
Basically i just want to know if i were to buy a pair of slip-on mufflers, would i need to do anything tune wise or anything to the fuel system?
Thanks,
-Just a newbie

If you just through on slip-ons and leave the AC stock, you should be fine without a tune.

I would look at the S&S slash cut slip on's. They have cats in them and are surprisingly loud for a muffler with cats. You are less likely to experience a tuning issue with those than with a straight through design. Fuel Moto has them for around $375.

A question you need to honestly ask yourself is do you want the sound for yourself or do you want to "sound cool" going down the road. Those are 2 different things and the changes you make will vary. Any other changes you make will change the sound you hear. Adding or changing the windshield, putting or adjusting lowers, changing later your intake/aircleaner and cover.

Also what is your hearing like and where do you want it to be in as few years? Reason I ask is I spent 45 years flying helicopters and my hearing sucks and getting worse. When I ride I always wear ear plugs, usually the foam type. People with hearing loss experience uncomfortable hearing with certain loud noises. Harsh exhausts are a bad offender.
