Anyone upgraded stock spoke wheels? If so what have you gone for without altering the setup?

I just picked up a 17" X 4.5" rear off a Dyna Street Bob, from what I've read should be a pretty straight forward swap but I'll soon find out!

Where you at in the Philippines? Parts through the dealership are expensive. And now Shipping cart wont ship my bike parts. Check with Bruce in Subic Choppers, he may be able to set you up with mags. I got mine through him.

Yes thanks, been there on a number of occasions, limited to what he has on the shelf, but thats understandable tho?

Should weigh less than the standard tire and rim too. If you are ABS birty make sure the tire you buy has the same rolling diameter as the stocker.

If wheel revolutions is out of sync with the VSS it will throw codes or it can go into limp mode.There is also a WSS to keep happy as well.

Would changing drive sprocket ratios have the same negative effect?
