They need to raise the seat height like 3-5 inches and it would be perfect. They need to make a highboy seat or some stupid name like that.

I’ve seen one with a standard LR seat that does about what you’re saying. Personally I love the ride position but it does seem changing a seat height could be a considerable change by itself. I’m a long time MX guy so I love the control/feel of mids so I’d never change that.

mid floorboards might be cool

Yes exactly! Wonder how the 2020 stock LRS brake lever works with those though?

Yeah, I don't get stock Harley seat height with mid-pegs, makes it feel like a trike. Great bike that's not comfortable for a large chunk of average to tall height riding population.

My experience was pretty much identical to this. Came from dirt bikes and nakeds so figured the mid controls would be better for me. I had also sat on a 2017 Dyna Low Rider S and found the mid controls to be quite a good position. Unfortunately, the 2020 was just a really weird position that made my hip cramp up as soon as I tried to ride it. It actually reminded me of the Iron 883 I test rode years ago. I get that the foot controls and handlebars can be changed easily enough, but those are things that I feel I should be able to change be cause I want to, not because I have to. So I ended up with a Fatbob.

Can't see any reason that it wouldn't.

I know you sell an adapter for pegs but do they, the adapters, fit a stock harley floorboard and if so, what year and model?

No, they do not fit stock HD floorboards. Stock HD Floorboards mount with floorboard mounting brackets, in a completely different manner than footpegs mount.

The Floorboards we have (in chrome & black) mount in a clevis, just like the footpegs do. You can see more details HERE.

Default My Two Cents

I’m a 6’ tall 1%ER and have been riding now for 54 years. I recently purchased a 2020 Low Rider S and absolutely love the bike and the way it’s set up for my height and my arm length, but it’s all personal preference, and yet any real biker worth his salt overcomes and adapts to whatever bike he saddles up on. The throttle response, handling, and suspension of this bike is outstanding for a professional biker. Some of my brothers have ridden my new bike and have the same opinion, but we 1%ERs love our Dynas. It never ceases to amaze me the number of modern era riders who whine and complain about comfort, styling, bike setup, etc., while discounting how far we’ve come since the first bikes came out with their rudimentary suspensions, small displacement motors, and bicycle tires, and yet hard-core riders around America back in the day traveled on crappy roads which were dirt, mud, and gravel. I’ve added an engine guard, a fairing, and a short sissy bar just to strap gear to my seat. Thinking about adding Tbars, but gonna keep stock ones on for awhile as they were engineered for the bike and it’s particular handling/engineering dynamics. I’m diggin the HELL outta this new model.
