Nice looking exhaust. Question, their website states requires replacement of the OEM muffler gaskets. My understanding is that there is no such gasket on the M8 stock muffler setup. Is the statement on their website incorrect or am I missing something? I was thinking of putting the S&S slip-on on my '18 Slim, but after your post and looking at the Rhinehart I like what I see and hear.
Dealer installed mine but The m pretty sure you are right that there are no OEM gaskets. So you are adding gaskets instead of replacing them.
Ill add that the mufflers are slotted in the front to expand as you insert the gaskets, and it is important to insert the gasket far enough to seal the slots. Otherwise, you get an exhaust leak. I had to use a rubber mallet to get mine in far enough after the dealer didnt get it right.

The stock mufflers and head pipes do require gaskets. The part # for the muffler gasket is 65900017 and the header pipe exhaust port gasket is part # 65324-83B.
Nice bike. I'm looking to put those Rhineharts on my 18 Deluxe after my warranty is over in February.

Use an expander to size the muffers so the seal slips in. Especially if the pipes have been crushed some by the clamps. I bought one at a NAPA store.
I would recommend a gasket at the slip-on for the same reason you have one at the header. You don't want any leaks. For the record, gaskets were pulled and replaced when I installed my Rinehart slip-ons. But you do you...

I think the gaskets are just needed on the newer softails. I think I recall Stinger1 has an 09 fat boy.
