Love the look of the JD customs t sport fairing but dont like the price of it. Been seeing more and more people go with the amazon Krator Fairing - has anyone on here installed one on the 2020 Low Rider S? If so, did it come with the mounts? Did you have to do any adjustments? Make any brackets? Can you post some pics on what you did? Can you post link of which one you used please? Lastly, how do you like it?
It comes with mounts, but it won't just bolt on. You need to work out the lower mount and the headlight mount. I would think you can buy the JD mounts if you don't want to spend the $ for the whole kit.
You can see in this picture how the lower mount is intended to go into a single hole on the lower tree. The second picture is the stock LRS headlight mount, you can see it is different and has 2 holes spread apart.
Another alternative is to use the Villan2Hero fairing. It uses clamps around the fork tubes to mount the fairing. That way the fairing will bolt right on, and you just need to figure out how to space the headlight. I am working on a solution for that, just waiting to hear back from the guy I sent it to. http://www.villain2hero.com/cpage-windscreen.html

I think for the amazon fairing if you used a longer bolt to mount the headlight with a few extra nuts you could get it to work. In the first pic you would bend the tabs on the fairing mount up like the red lines. Then you run a longer bolt and a few extra nuts like the second pic. The red lines represent where the bent fairing brackets would mount, and the green is where the headlight bracket would mount.
Then you just need to space the headlight out. You could remove the 4 bolts that hold the bracket to the back of it and use some kind of spacer with longer bolts. One guy used longer bolts with some nuts there for the spacing. I printed a spacer for another guy, just waiting to hear the result.
Sorry about the crappy photoshop, but hopefully you get the idea.
that helps out big time. Seriously thank you. I just need to see one in person and I think I can figure it out, with that picture you gave me. 🤙🏼

Keep in mind I have not actually done this, so you may have to modify or adjust things a little more to wok perfect, but I bet it will get you pretty close.
It’s not gonna fit like the JD Faring will. The windshield sucks big time on the Krator as well. I get the money issue $ 99 as opposed to $635. I have a krator on my 90 fxr it’s definitely ok for the loot. I have a V2hero on my 93 fxr I don’t like the windshield or the fitment. Sorry but the JD which I did have on my 2018 low rider for the best and painted up pissa.
The krator fairing fits easy. Get a pair .. of sheet metal vise grips, grab the mounting tabs and bend them, then run a bolt w spacers. The Memphis shades headlight relocation thing makes it fit damn near perfect!
