I see jimsreddyna grabbed the bull by the horns and modding his.
Major problem with new models and aftermarket, takes too long for most of them to catch up. My FB has a reflector where there should be a tail light, only upgrade for that is a LED strip with adhesive backing.
Definitely need to fab something other than that.
I have another gripe too, cannot relocate the front turn signals off the bars to the nacelle yet, no products on the market other than some silly looking tube rings.

With the Sport Glide SB's, there are a number of CD strip products and prism bars that you could add to the rear along with the Tripple play Run/Turn/Brake module. All of these strip light use 3M aumotive double stick tape to attach and their leads can be easly attached using a a quick disconnect socket and plug with splcing connectors running to the wires along the frame rail for the existing tail and turn signals. The bag lights on my SGS are installed this way. very simple.
I am working on a DIY bracket with a Custom Dynamics Knight Rider Light Bar.
When I get it done I will post for input.
According to the HD wiring diagram, the Softail main harness has a third plug for a central brake/tail light, in addition to the two plugs for the left and right ones. Is that the case? or does it only exist on models with a central tail light?
Well it took me a while to get back to this thread. I finally got around to making the mounting bracket and installing it on the bike. Here is my $29.99 solution to adding more light to the back of my Sport Glide.
