After reading a lot of post here, decided to buy this 2018 Heritage. It is a left over that I got a super deal on with 9 miles on it.
Always been a bagger guy with gloss paint and lots of chrome but wanted something different. Never thought getting a bike that was blacked out with denim paint.
Sad thing is, took it for a test ride and dealer is storing it until spring. To much snow and salt to ride now. Can't wait for spring.
Any suggestion for accessories? I know that's a broad topic.
Congrats on your new ride! Hoping the winter passes quickly for you.
We have many Customers that really like the extra leg/foot room afforded by the Floorboard Kit that move the board up and out a bit. That little bit of extra real estate makes a big improvement.
I just had a set of Tab slipons put on my 19.Talk about an engine wakeup,next I will put on a better air filter.Good luck on doing your mods.Forgot to add a tuner to the list.

Nice looking bike, I'm sure you will enjoy it. I just picked up a 2018 use Heritage a week ago; my only adds so far are LED turn signals front and rear and a lay down license plate mount from Amazon. The bike already had pipes and a tuner so I saved some money there
If it a 107, I highly suggest a simple breather upgrade and tune. Made a world of difference on my '18. If it is a 114, stock OK, from what I've I read.
I believe early must do's include:
Add an engine guard and change out the stock mirrors for ones you can see behind you. Yep, the grips also, as already mentioned.
Changing out all turn and brake lights to LED's. (I like them with smoked lenses). A tripple play module from CD makes the rear much better lit.
Rreplace the stock windshied with a properly sized Freedom (or equal) recurve windshield and add a set of Fangs. Most Heritage riders seem to find these a necesity as wind buffeting seems to be an issue on the the '18's and up.
Might want to consider a Grasshopper backrest and a set of risers for the stock HB. Both go a long way to making the ride much more comfortable.
When you find a bunch of extra cash, you might want to consider getting rid of those horrible stock Saddlebags and upgrade to somethinlg like Leateher Pro SB's. Then there is rear saddle bag guard rails, sissy bar, luggage rack, on and on and on.
Hey Frank....what is your suggestion on mirrors. I have been looking around to change mine and just not found what I thought would be a better mirror. Thanks for your input.

Nice ride. I bought my first Heritage in 96. I like all the upgrades that have been suggested but I am partial to the stock saddlebag look. But I would replace the OEM bags, they really suck, with the Leatherwork's LW110 and a set of quick release Easy Brackets.
I got a 19 in Rawhide/Black in September. I traded an 18FB for it. I had 3 Heritages and I felt lost without one in the garage.. Of ALL the HDs I've owned and Ive had about a dozen, the modern HST is the best. I love it.. Some things I did..
* V&H Eliminator 300 slip ons - look great sound great - I LOVE this mod
* Engine and bag guard in gloss black - HD product
* Defiance Mirrors, grips, coil cover
* Matching shift lever and shift rod
* I had a custom seat and pillion made from Mustang
* Windshield bag
* HD embroidered whitewalls

I use Kuryakn(?) Heavy industrial oval mirrors mounted on HD mirror extenders. Allows you to see on either side both the outside lane and directly behind without shoulders or arms getting in the way.
