Got my 2020 Deluxe back from the dealer after a stage 2 upgrade and took it for a ride. After about one hour the check oil light comes on and I pull over to check the oil level. Big mistake! I unscrew the oil dip stick cover and the oil erupts out out the filler hole and I and the bike get soaked in oil. It was like removing a car radiator cap on a hot engine. The oil pressure was extreme.
At the time of the upgrade the bike had 2600 miles on it. Also it took over an hour of riding before the check oil light came on.
Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this issue?

That is a major problem. The engine crankcase including the oil tank are vented to atmosphere through a breather system. There are two hollow breather bolts behind the air cleaner that let the blow-by gasses out. Something is effed-up and blocking the breather vents. I hope your engine is OK. Do not ride until you unblock the breathers.

In my experience with a 114 Stage II (or any other M8) techs seem to be having a problem getting the correct amount of oil in the engines. I can't tell you the number of times I've had to remove oil after a tech has done a change or added oil because I was "low". I've checked my oil hot according to the manual and seen it waaaaay over the add line and foaming, which is not good for the motor. I'm going to start using the cold procedure according to the manual, and I have bought an "oil sucker" so that I can remove the extra oil techs seem to continually add to M8's.
