Looking at a 2019 Slim, less than 100 miles lol. We all know folks who have made wrong decisions, could be mine for a little under $13k. Going to see it in person later this week. Rode one last year at Demo Days and it really fits my relaxed riding style. Only changes I'd make would be putting on a swing arm bag, Rinehart slip ons and changing the grips. Eventually I'd put a spring seat on it (like the look of HD's tuck and roll version but no rush).
Anything I should know from those that have the M8 version of this bike?

Do it. Ask for them to swap a 2020 model year oilpump, and you're golden.
Can you fill me in on the 2020 oil pump? Problems with the 19? I've read about the issues with the 17s but thought it got sorted out. Thanks very much.
In short the 2018/2019 MY pumps were suspected to be part of the sumping issue that the M8 has, however rare it maybe. So for MY2020 they have a new version of the pump that addresses the potential issues.

It's a great bike, I love mine. A lot of people change out the seat for more long range comfort and support. Enjoy.
Hopefully next time I respond it'll be with a pic of the bike and saying it's mine. If I get it I'll gladly ask for spring seat recommendations-comfort overrules looks but I feel a spring seat adds to the nostalgic look of the scoot.
