Hello Expert Mechanics fellows, I'm new to this forum but I would to start asking few questions for you: 1. how easy is to swap from 2020 FXBB the gas tank, instrument cluster, and rear fender to a 2020 FXLRS? 2. How fat I can change the front tire (110/90B19,62H,BW) in the stock front wheel? Thanks a lot in advance !! Route0766
I feel like the amount of money you would spend to make this happen, you would've been better off just getting the FXLRS. However, if you at least want the gauges from an FXLRS on your FXBB (if you are actually asking about turning an FXBB into an FXLRS), that is possible to do. If you are switching to an aftermarket handlebar setup (T bar set up), you can order the gauges from an FXLR from Harley and a gauge mount kit from Speed-Kings Cycle, and you'd need a cable from Guerrilla Cables for FXLR gauges. I used the speedo and tach from an FXLR on my sport glide and blacked out with plasti-dip where the stock speedo is inside the console. The new gauges are mounted to my T bars and are a much safer and more comfortable setup for me.
But yeah... this all sounds like a very expensive endeavor, that would cost more than the price difference between a street bob and an FXLRS. Just my 2 cents though.
