Default Power Vision Install on 18' Fatboy

Curious if anyone has installed the Power Vision on their 18+ Fatboy and if so, how did you route the cable up to the handlebar?

I put one on a Fat Bob, so not exactly the same, but same frame. Pull the tank off, then follow the electrical harness, occasionally zip-tying to the main electrical harness.

Is there any documentation on how to remove the tank?

Only have the bike a few months and not sure how this is done.

It's really simple to do. Documentation is in the Service Manual.

If you don't want to get the Service Manual, the process is:
1) Undo and remove the bolt at the front of the tank, and the bolt at the rear of the tank. 9/16" wrench.

2) Raise the tank up by wedging a block of wood under the rear of the tank.

3) Disconnect the fuel by pushing the large round silver quick-release connector (on the tank, left side) up and pulling down on the tube.

4) There's a vent next to the quick-release connector, just pull the tube off.

5) There's an electrical plug located closer to the front of the tank, on the frame, for the fuel pump. Disconnect that.

That's it. Pull the tank up and move it out of the way. Easier to do if it's empty, but it's not so bad even if it's full, it's just a lot heavier.

Note: I don't know how the Fat Boy's gauges are connected, I assume it's the same way mine is. If the cable to the instruments is too short to set the tank aside or have someone else hold it while you finish the wiring, then you'll have to remove the console off the tank and disconnect the cable from the speedometer.

To reinstall, reverse the above procedures. Once you've done it a couple of times, it's a few-minute process.

Dont really need to remove the tank. Just removing the bolt at the bottom and tilting it up will give you enough room to route the cable and zip tie it. I used it for a while, now with the tune running well, I removed it from the bars.
