Softail Lowering Kit
Ran across this product to lower your 18+ Softail with a bracket that offsets one of the shock mounting points. Looks pretty simple.

I'm going with a taller shock, but seems like lots of you guys want to go lower and wasn't sure if this had been posted here before.

Hadn't caught needing to cut the rear fender, but you do get to keep your shock travel as opposed to a shorter shock.
Like I said, I'm going longer anyway - was just looking for installation instructions and torque specs.
