Question Hot Derby
The derby on my 2019 Low Rider gets much hotter than on previous bike--enough to cause a blister even with riding pants--when I have to manually back up my bike. Is this normal?

Have not noticed that on my 2018LR. Have ridden it for 2 months now, about 700 miles at temps approaching 90's. Will check again when it is that temp. Bike has 4800 miles on it and works great.

Mine gets hot but not hot enough to blister through my pants that's for sure.

No, it is not normal to press your leg against the primary case like that.

Short in-seam length!!! Not a problem when I am riding.

Haven't had a problem on that side but on the FXDR, the header and stock muffler have burned holes is a few pair of pants.

If you want to maintain your stock exaust get the header ceramic coated makes a big difference.

My leg rests against my primary case often (short inseam) and it doesn't burn me even with dress pants on.

Maybe your clutch is slipping and heating up your primary fluid? Total guess as I have know idea.
