Default Moons MC

I just finished installing my Moons MC taillight that has a flashing brake light and integrated blinkers. Removing the side blinkers really cleaned it up in my opinion. I also put on my new blacked out Willie G foot pegs. Making her my own! 😁

Looks good! Did you get the extra harness for the turn signals as well?

Looks good. Now you need a lay down license plate frame.

Was looking at this last night here in the UK. Can’t find a supplier here so will have to import it... Did you remove the fender completely? Or lift it up?

I had to lift up the fender to get the bolts out from the inside. I chose to take the fender off as it made it easier to get the double stick tape off the inside of the fender. Be careful as even with blue tape on the bottom of the fender it still scratched it.

If you unplug the harness and remove the 4 stainless strut bolts that are directly under the seat the whole strut / fender comes off in one piece. No chance of scratching anything. Then you can take it inside and work comfortably. Also if you're going for that blacked out look you can get a black roll of vinyl from Amazon for about $10 and wrap the taillight bezel. Should last a good 5 years and only takes a few minutes

Thanks for the tip! Wish I knew that before hand. I ordered a service manual but it hasn't come in yet. I'm not very patient when I have mods sitting around so it's the price you pay to play! LOL
