Default Tank Graphics

I'm getting pretty damn interested in a 2020 Low Rider, but I'm not fond of the graphics on the tank. I prefer the logo on every other cruiser tank offered. It occurs to me that maybe I can find a way around this, maybe have the paint re-done, but I fear that it will be way too expensive.

Does anyone know any reasonable work-arounds? Is it more practical to just pick a different bike?

Sooooo, at the end of the day, is your HD purchase decided on the looks of the tank graphics or the overall character of a certain bike?

Huh? Pull the badge, pull the tank, send it off to your painter of choice and do what you want?

Don't really get this comment. Apart from 107 vs 114 and rear wheel width (frame/swingarm to fit), they're all basically the same bike. Variations are P&A bolt ons and cosmetics. So tank graphics are a sensible consideration. I know that's a bit simplified, but you get my point.

Any idea of what that would cost?

How long is a piece of string?
Are you wanting just the badges changed over or a full custom paint job?
I took off my FXBB badges and replaced them with panhead badges. Total cost $90 and 4 hours of my time.

It's my understanding that the 2020 Low Rider's tank is simply painted with graphics, no physical badge to switch out. So new paint would be required.

As an example, a new Softail Slim, which has a tank I like, is just $1,100 more than a Low Rider so I don't want to pay too much to have a Low Rider's tank adjusted/changed . . .

I'm inclined to agree. I was a little disappointed that my 2018 LR doesn't have nicer graphics, or a cool Harley badge of some sort, but it had everything else I did want that the other softail models didn't have, so I chose those over the graphics. Everyone has their own priorities.

VTL, the LR is a great bike. All the M8 softaill models are great bikes in their own way. Hard to go wrong with any of them.

You could just get it wrapped. Then you could get it to look like whatever color you want. Then change it every couple year. They do it all the time with cars.
