Default I'll be back

Many years ago I had vanity plates on two different cars. Haven't for a long time because of the overpricing of them since. But a thought just occured to me (that I won't be acting on). Has anyone seen a vanity plate on a Fat Boy that reads ILLBBK? Or something similar?

Any other unique or cool plates seen on a bike?

I like a license plate where it is hard to remember in a glance.

I am a fan of the ever popular NVWSSV (flipped upside down, of course). If I got it, I would have to get NVW8OO8.

How much would it cost you to keep a vanity plate like that per year?
I was lookin at getting a vanity plate and the website is just outright confusing.

I think in our neck of the woods it adds $75 yearly to the cost of your tabs.

You should call a local licensing office, I could be wrong. Back in the 80's when I had my two plates it was $35 initially and $35 per year after that. I'm pretty sure the $75 is right, but I don't want to rain on your parade by being wrong.

Here in NC it’s something like $65 per year (car) but you also pay some amount yearly for just a regular plate. Maybe $35 or so? (car). I’d hafta look it up for the exact pricing.

Lol so I gave the DMV a ring to ask about this, and its 42$ a year additional on top of everything else to have custom letters on a motorcycle plate.
Not sure if worth it, but hey now we know.
